To make the width from the edge of a curb on a road side to the edge of a guard fence on a sidewalk side as small as possible when a guard fence is erected on the sidewalk side along the curb in a sidewalk-roadway boundary block 1 including a foundation arranged below the ground and a curb part placed on the foundation and protruding above the ground.SOLUTION: In a sidewalk-roadway boundary block 1 of the present invention, a hollow part 3h is formed through which a support post P, erected in a substantially vertical direction of a guard fence installed so as to extend along the sidewalk-roadway boundary block, is inserted at a part of an edge of a curb part 3 in a direction perpendicular to its extending direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 地面よりも下方に配置される基礎部と該基礎部の上に載置され地面より上方に突出する縁石部とを含む歩車道境界ブロック１に於いて、縁石に沿って歩道側に防護柵を立てる場合に、縁石の車道側の縁から防護柵の歩道側の縁までの幅をできるだけ小さくすること。【解決手段】 本発明の歩車道境界ブロック１に於いては、縁石部３に於けるその延在方向に垂直な方向の縁の一部に於いて、歩車道境界ブロックに沿って延在するよう設置される防護柵の略鉛直方向に立てられる支柱Ｐを挿通する肉抜きされた部分３ｈが形成されている。【選択図】 図１
