To provide a housing apparatus whose cover sheet is difficult to be released from the edge and which enables the improvement in the design of a touch operation accepting device.SOLUTION: A touch operation accepting device comprises: a panel (for example, a door 16a) in which an opening 16h is formed; a touch operation accepting module (for example, a touch sheet 90) that includes a touch operation detecting unit (for example, an electrode part for a capacitance detection electrode and an antenna) for detecting touch operations, and that, in a mode that the touch operation detecting unit is exposed to outside through the opening 16h, is attached to the panel from a back side of the panel; and a cover sheet 100 that includes a cover-sheet body part 103 that is formed into a shape fitting with the opening 16h and covers the touch operation detecting unit, and a cover-sheet peripheral portion 105 that is provided so as to be recessed from a periphery of the cover-sheet body portion 103 while forming steps, and mounted on inside of a periphery of the opening 16h in the panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
