PLUG SOCKET FOR FAUCET
To provide a new plug socket for a faucet.SOLUTION: A plug socket 210 houses a faucet 30 and a part of a pipe 260 connected to an inlet 32 of the faucet 30. The plug socket 210 includes: a box 40 that houses the faucet 30 and a part of the pipe 260 and includes an insertion port 48 that allows external pipe connection to an outlet 33 of the faucet 30, and a lower opening 45 that opens into a side wall 42 of the box 40 and allows the connection of the pipe 260 to the inlet 32 of the faucet 30; and an attachment 250 including an engagement part 251 that has an outer circumference shape that follows the inner circumference shape of the lower opening 45 and is detachably engaged with the lower opening 45, and an outer cover part 255 that extends toward the outside of the box 40 and covers a part of the pipe 260. The outer cover part 255 has a half-split cylindrical shape, with the tip portion having a reduced diameter as compared with other parts, and the inner circumference shape thereof follows the outer circumference shape of the pipe 260.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
