To provide a sliding door opening/closing device capable of preventing a hand, a body, or luggage of a passenger from being drawn into a gap by eliminating the bap between a sliding door and a door pocket and suppressing the cost with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A sliding door opening/closing device 10 including a sliding door 1 and a door pocket 5 for housing the sliding door 1 installed on a vehicle, includes a sheet 2 for enclosing the sliding door 1 such that an upper part and a lower part of the sliding door 1 is opened to form a ring shape. The sheet 2 is mounted on the door pocket 5 inside the vehicle at a position where the sliding door 1 is housed in the door pocket 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
