FAUCET CONTROL DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC FAUCET USING THE SAME
To provide a faucet control device capable of detecting the movement of a detected object more appropriately.SOLUTION: A faucet control device 10 comprises: a motion sensor 12 that detects the movement of a detection target; and a water discharge control unit 13 that outputs an operation instruction for changing the water discharge state based on a detection signal from the motion sensor 12. The motion sensor 12 has three projectors 12A, 12B, 12C and one receiver 12D that receives reflected light projected from them. The water discharge control unit 13 includes a distributor that sequentially outputs pulsed light from each of the projectors 12A, 12B, 12C at different timings, and a motion identification unit that identifies the movement of the detection target based on the temporal change of each light reception intensity by arranging the light reception intensity of each reflected light received by the receiver 12D in chronological order of projection, so as to be configured to output the operation instruction to change the water discharge state assigned to the movement of the identified detection target.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】検出対象物の動きをより適切に検知することのできる水栓制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】水栓制御装置10は、検出対象物の動きを検出するモーションセンサ12と、モーションセンサ12からの検出信号に基づいて吐水状態の変更操作指示を出力する吐水制御部13とを有する。モーションセンサ12は、3つの投光器12A,12B,12Cと、これらから投光された光の反射光を受光する1つの受光器12Dとを有する。吐水制御部13は、各投光器12A,12B,12Cから互いに異なるタイミングでパルス光を順番に出力させる分配器と、受光器12Dに受光される各反射光の受光強度を投光の順番毎に時系列に並べて各々の受光強度の経時変化に基づき検出対象物の動きを特定する動き特定部とを有し、特定された検出対象物の動きに対して割り当てられた吐水状態の変更操作指示を出力する構成とされる。【選択図】図1
