FAUCET CONTROL DEVICE AND AUTOMATED FAUCET USING THE SAME
To provide a faucet control device capable of more appropriately detecting movement of an object to be detected.SOLUTION: A faucet control device 10 comprises: a motion sensor 12 that detects the movement of the object to be detected; and a water discharge control part 13 that outputs a water discharge state change operation instruction based on a detection signal from the motion sensor 12. The motion sensor 12 has two floodlights 12A, 12B and one optical receiver 12D that receives reflected light of light projected from them, the water discharge control part 13 has a distributor that sequentially outputs pulsed light from each floodlight 12A, 12B at different timings, and a motion identification part that identifies the movement and speed of the object to be detected based on a change in light intensity over time by arranging intensity of each reflected light received by the optical receiver 12D in a time-series manner in order of projection, water is discharged when the movement of the object to be detected is one movement, the water is cut-off when the movement is the other, and change operation instructions are output to change an amount of the water discharged depending on whether one of the movements is slow or fast.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】検出対象物の動きをより適切に検知することのできる水栓制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】水栓制御装置10は、検出対象物の動きを検出するモーションセンサ12と、モーションセンサ12からの検出信号に基づいて吐水状態の変更操作指示を出力する吐水制御部13とを有する。モーションセンサ12は、2つの投光器12A,12Bと、これらから投光された光の反射光を受光する1つの受光器12Dとを有し、吐水制御部13は、各投光器12A,12Bから互いに異なるタイミングでパルス光を順番に出力させる分配器と、受光器12Dに受光される各反射光の受光強度を投光の順番毎に時系列に並べて各々の受光強度の経時変化に基づき検出対象物の動きと速さとを特定する動き特定部とを有し、検出対象物の動きが一方の動きである場合に吐水し他方である場合に止水し、一方の動きが遅い場合と速い場合とで吐水量を変えるよう変更操作指示を出力する。【選択図】図1
