To provide a sample preparation method capable of preparing a uniform sample by appropriately removing air bubbles from solidified soil using cement-based solidifying material.SOLUTION: The sample preparation method includes: putting solidified soil, which is a mixture of sample soil and cement-based solidifying material, into a tubular container; placing the tubular container containing the solidified soil on the table of the table vibrator; and subjecting the tubular container to vibration for 5 seconds or more with a vibration frequency of 40 Hz or more and 90 Hz or less, and amplitude of 0.75±0.05 mm in the vertical direction, depending on the condition of the solidified soil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
