ASSISTANCE DEVICE
To provide a structure of an assistance device comprising a handrail part, the structure implementing smooth rotation with suppressed wobbling without requiring too strict processing accuracy of a part at which the handrail part is joined to a rotation shaft.SOLUTION: An assistance device comprises: an attachment part attached to a fixation surface; a handrail part that is mounted on the attachment part and is rotatably supported; and a lock mechanism that locks the handrail part at a predetermined angular position with respect to the fixation surface. The attachment part includes: an attachment base that is fastened on the fixation surface; a pedestal part fixed to the attachment base; and a rotation part that rotatably covers the pedestal part and is connected to the handrail part. The lock mechanism includes: a lock part comprising a plurality of fixation recesses corresponding to the predetermined angular position at the pedestal part; and a latch part that is extended along a longer direction of the handrail part and has a proximal end, an end on the attachment part side, capable of being disengageably engaged with any of the plurality of fixation recesses of the lock part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
