ROLLING COMPACTION VEHICLE
To provide a rolling compaction vehicle that can quickly determine an obstacle that may collide not only when going straight but also when turning, and that can avoid a collision with the obstacle with a sufficient time to prevent a rough road surface during compaction due to a sudden stop.SOLUTION: An approximately square straight-ahead determination area E1, which has the same width as a maximum vehicle width dimension, and a left turn determination area E2 and a right turn determination area E3, each of which is triangular and adjacent to the left and right of the straight-ahead determination area E1, are set in advance as determination areas for determining obstacles in the direction of travel when a vehicle 1 is reversing. While the vehicle 1 is reversing, and when the vehicle 1 is travelling straight, the presence of an obstacle is determined in the straight-ahead determination area E1, or when turning left, the presence of an obstacle is determined in the straight-ahead determination area E1 and the left-turn determination area E2, or when turning right, the presence of an obstacle is determined in the straight-ahead determination area E1 and the right-turn determination area E3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】直進時のみならず旋回時においても衝突する可能性がある障害物を早期に判定でき、時間的な余裕をもって障害物との衝突を回避して、急停止に起因する締固め途中の路面の荒れを未然に防止できる転圧車両を提供する。【解決手段】車両1の後退時に進行方向の障害物を判定するための判定領域として、最大車幅寸法と同一幅を有する略四角状の直進判定領域E1、及び直進判定領域E1の左右に隣接する三角状の左旋回判定領域E2及び右旋回判定領域E3を予め設定しておく。車両1の後退中において、車両1が直進しているときには直進判定領域E1内で障害物の有無を判定し、左旋回しているときには直進判定領域E1内及び左旋回判定領域E2内で障害物の有無を判定し、右旋回しているときには直進判定領域E1内及び右旋回判定領域E3内で障害物の有無を判定する。【選択図】図8
