To provide a vibration suppression device which can design an inertia connection element easily.SOLUTION: A vibration suppression device includes: an inertia connection mechanism having a nut which is fixed to a vibration suppression object and may move integrally with vibration of the vibration suppression object and a screw shaft which extends in a linear direction, is rotatably supported by a base part in a state that movement in the linear direction is restricted, is screw-joined to the nut, and may rotate in conjunction with movement of the nut; a rotation amount amplification mechanism having an input shaft which rotates in conjunction with rotation of the screw shaft, an output shaft coaxially disposed with the input shaft, and an amplification part which amplifies a rotation amount of the input shaft to transmit the rotation to the output shaft; and a damping mechanism which follows rotation of the output shaft and absorbs kinetic energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
