To provide an asphalt finisher capable of reducing the workload of preliminary preparation and performing high-precision paving work by labor-saving and manpower-saving.SOLUTION: In an automatic control system for expansion and contraction of screed of asphalt finisher and asphalt finisher, a laying boundary part BS being a boundary between a form material 3 and a surface to be paved 2 continuous in the laying direction by an asphalt finisher 1 is detected by a sensor unit 5, and when a widener outer end part 132 of a left widener 13L of a screed 12 deviates from a proper state existing on the laying boundary part BS and deviates to the right and left, a screed control device 6 controls expansion and contraction of a hydraulic cylinder 131 to automatically return it to a proper state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】事前準備の作業負担を減らすと共に、高精度な舗装作業を省力化・省人化して行えるアスファルトフィニッシャを提供する。【解決手段】アスファルトフィニッシャ1による敷設方向に連続する型枠材3と被舗装面2の境界である敷設境界部BSをセンサ部5にて検知し、スクリード12の左ワイドナ13Lのワイドナ外端部132が敷設境界部BS上にある適正状態からずれて左右に片寄ったら、スクリード制御装置6が油圧シリンダ131の伸縮を制御して、自動的に適正状態に戻す。【選択図】図2
