COLUMNAR BODY AND FLIP-UP GATE DOOR
To provide a columnar body and a flip-up gate door that can improve wiring workability and suppress fluttering of a cover material that closes an opening.SOLUTION: A pillar 2 includes a hollow column material 25 in which equipment can be installed. The column material 25 has a side surface portion 23 formed with an upper opening 231 through which the equipment can be inspected, and a rear surface portion 22 formed with a wiring port through which wiring to be connected to the equipment is inserted. An upper cover material 261 and a wiring cover material 27 are attached to the side surface portion 23 and the rear surface portion 22, respectively. The side surface portion 23 has a front engaging portion 234. The upper cover material 261 has a cover body portion 265 and a fixing portion 266 continuous with the cover body portion. The cover body portion 265 has a cover engaging portion 267 that engages with the front engaging portion 234 of the side surface portion 23.
