To provide a joint structure of channel steel having joint strength of the same degree as that of a conventional joint structure of channel steel, capable of reducing the number of components, facilitating joint construction, and capable of flattening the surface side of a flange.SOLUTION: In a joint structure of a channel steel for joining a channel steel 10 and a steel material having a plate part: the channel steel is provided with a transmission plate 2 which is closely attached to one side surface of a web 13 of the channel steel and is welded to the rear surface of a flange 12; the web of the channel steel and the transmission plate are joined to a connecting plate 3 for connecting the plate part of the steel material, or the web and the transmission plate of the channel steel are joined to the plate part of the steel material by bolts 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
