To provide a wedge block which can be manufactured using the same material as a conventional one without being downsized and which can reduce labor in transporting and constructing.SOLUTION: A wedge block 1 includes: a face 5a for forming an external appearance; a matching end portion 2 formed at a rear of the face 5a; a retreating body portion 3 formed at a rear of the matching end portion 2; and a retreating tail portion 4 formed at a rear of the retreating body portion 3. The matching end portion 2 includes: a pair of faces 2b extending in a height direction; a pair of faces 2a formed as a face connecting both end portions of the pair of the faces 2b and extending in a width direction; and a face 2c at a rear side. In the face 2c at the rear side, a groove-like recessed portion 2d is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
