WATERPROOF SUBSIDIARY MATERIAL WITH WATER LEAKAGE DETECTION FUNCTION, ROOFTOP WATERPROOF STRUCTURE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING WATER LEAKAGE
To provide a waterproof subsidiary material that can efficiently detect water leakage from a waterproof layer provided on the rooftop of a building and can be easily installed.SOLUTION: A waterproof subsidiary material with a water leakage detection function (1) includes a metal waterproof subsidiary material (2) that is used for rooftop waterproof, an electrode (3), and a separator (4). The metal waterproof subsidiary material (2) and the electrode (3) are composed of different types of metals. The separator (4) is formed of a water permeable and electrically insulating material. The electrode (3) is attached to the metal waterproof subsidiary material (2) through the separator (4). The metal waterproof subsidiary material (2) and the electrode (3) are not electrically connected with each other because of the interposition of the separator therebetween. The waterproof subsidiary material generates a signal when water enters between the metal waterproof subsidiary material (2) and the electrode (3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
