FRAME REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE AND BRACE STRUCTURE
To make it possible to improve toughness of an architectural structure by avoiding buckling of a wooden construction brace even if large earthquake force is applied to the architectural structure.SOLUTION: A frame reinforcement structure for strengthening a frame of an architectural structure comprises at least one wooden construction brace extending along an oblique direction inside the frame and a joint metal fixed to a first component constituting the frame. The wooden construction brace includes a projection part protruding from an apical surface of the wooden construction brace, and the joint metal includes a recess part into which the projection part is inserted. If an acute angle side is defined as the side where an intersection angle between the wooden construction brace and the first component becomes an acute angle and an obtuse angle side is defined as the side where an intersection angle between the wooden construction brace and the first component becomes an obtuse angle, a lateral face of the obtuse angle side of the projection part is configured to abut an internal wall surface inside the recess part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
