To provide a remote operation support device that can appropriately support the remote operation of operators when work machines are remotely operated.SOLUTION: A remote operation support server 10 performs a first remote control process (STEP 2) and transmits a remote operation signal to a work machine 40 when receiving the remote operation signal from a remote operation device 20. The remote operation support server performs a second remote control process when receiving a stop command signal from a client 60, and transmits the stop command signal for stopping the work machine 40 to the work machine 40 when the client 60 is located in a peripheral area of the work machine 40 and the work machine 40 is located in a designated area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
