To provide a method making it possible to more highly prevent corrosion of a steel structure.SOLUTION: A method for preventing corrosion of a steel structure includes: a sacrificial anode material attachment step of adhering and fixing a sacrificial anode material to a surface of the steel structure; a water retention body attachment step of attaching a water retention body co cover the sacrificial anode material; and a protective cover attachment step of attaching a protective cover so that a part of the water retention body is opened to ambient air while keeping a state where the water retention body is adhered to the sacrificial anode material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
