To provide a steel member joint structure allowing steel members provided with flanges and webs to be integrally jointed to each other in a stress-transmissible state with simplicity.SOLUTION: A steel member joint structure 1 jointing a beam 3 to a joint member 21, end surfaces of which are placed opposite to each other, is provided with a pair of joint plates 4 and 4 arranged on both sides over a web 32 along sides of the web 32 of a flange 31 of the beam 3. One of the joint plates 4 is welded on the flange 31 of the beam 3 and the web 32 as well as shearing-jointed with a bolt without any displacement on a flange 22 of the joint member 21. The other of the joint plates 4 is welded on the flange 22 of the joint member 21 and a web 23 as well as shearing-jointed with a bolt without any displacement on the flange 31 of the beam 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
