To provide a connection metal fitting for a handrail which can shorten a time required for being attached to neighboring leg portions of two handrails.SOLUTION: A connection metal fitting for a handrail attached to upper half portions of two leg portions 21b and 22b that are adjacent to each other, of two handrails comprises: first and second rectangular members 1 and 2 disposed so as to clamp the two leg portions 21b and 22b in a horizontal direction; two support members 3a and 3b which are attached to the first rectangular member 1 to be separated from each other so as to adjust an interval therebetween and which support the two leg portions 21b and 22b so as to keep an interval of the two leg portions 21b and 22b a prescribed interval from the first rectangular member 1 side; and a fastening mechanism 6A which has first and second screw members (7, 8) screwed with each other, which connects the first rectangular member 1 and the second rectangular member 2 through the two leg portions 21b and 22b, and which can fasten the first rectangular member 1 and the second rectangular member 2 so as to narrow an interval therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
