METHOD OF PRODUCING CONNECTION METAL FITTING OF SUPPORT PILLAR MEMBER AND HANDRAIL MEMBER
To solve the problem in which, in a handrail structure where a plurality of support pillars and handrails are joined by welding, an area and volume occupied by one handrail structure becomes very large compared to the weight, so that transportation from the production of the handrail structure before installation in a plant is not efficient and costs a lot.SOLUTION: A support pillar member 3 and a handrail member 5 for constituting a handrail structure are connected by using a novel connection metal fitting 10. In the connection metal fitting 10, a holding part for holding the handrail member 5 by a holding surface along an outer peripheral shape of a cross section orthogonal to an axial line of the handrail member 5, and a locking part locked with respect to the support pillar member 3 are constituted integrally, and cut out from a plate material by a laser processing machine. In the connection metal fitting 10, the holding part holds the handrail member 5 in a state where the connection metal fitting 10 is locked to the support pillar member 3 by a bolt 11 penetrating the support pillar member 3 and the locking part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】 複数の支柱と手摺とが溶接により接合された手摺構造では、1個の手摺構造の占有する面積及び体積はその重量に比べ非常に大きなものとなってしまう。そのため、手摺構造を製作してからプラントに設置するまでの搬送が非効率で大きなコストがかかる。【解決手段】 手摺構造を構成する支柱部材3と手摺部材5とを新規な連結金具10を用いて連結する。当該連結金具10は、手摺部材5の軸線に直交する断面の外周形状に沿う把持面によって手摺部材5を把持する把持部と、支柱部材3に対し係止される係止部と、が一体に構成されており、レーザー加工機により板材から切り出される。当該連結金具10は、支柱部材3と係止部とを貫通するボルト11により連結金具10が支柱部材3に係止された状態で把持部が手摺部材5を把持する。【選択図】 図4
