To provide a pivot member of a pivot device which can reduce a material loss, and can largely improve a yield, and its assembling method.SOLUTION: An assembling method performs: a pasting process (step S1) for aligning and pasting a plurality of pieces 40 which are smaller than a slide bearing 37 so as to cover a forming region α of the slide bearing 37 with respect to a temporary fixing sheet 50; a cutting process (step S2) for cutting the plurality of pieces 40 which are pasted to the temporary fixing sheet 50 into a shape of the slide bearing 37 together with the temporary fixing sheet 50; an application process (step S3) for applying an adhesive to a holding recess 36a of a bearing holder 36; an arrangement process (step S4) for arranging the plurality of pieces 40 which are held by the temporary fixing sheet 50 in the holding recess 36a; and a sheet removal process (step S5) for exfoliating and removing the temporary fixing sheet 50 from the plurality of pieces 40 which are arranged in the holding recess 36a, thus constituting the slide bearing 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
