To provide a pivot device which can surely fix a slide member to a holding member irrespective of a raw material of the slide member, and an assembling method.SOLUTION: A synthetic-resin made slide bearing 36 constituting an upper shoe slide face 10a and a piston 35 for holding the slide bearing 36 are arranged at an upper shoe 10 of a pivot device 1 constituted of the upper shoe 10 and a lower shoe 20 which are arranged in facing portions of a first construction and a second construction. A recessed attachment recess 352 for accommodating the slide bearing 36 in a form that the upper shoe slide face 10a is exposed is provided at the piston 35, an engagement protrusion 353 and an engagement groove 362 for fixing the slide bearing 36 accommodated in the attachment recess 352 are arranged at the facing portions, and an accommodation-direction engagement groove part 363 extending in an accommodation direction C and a peripheral-direction groove part 364 extending in a rotation direction R are provided at the engagement groove 362 provided at the slide bearing 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】滑り部材の素材を問わず、確実に滑り部材を保持部材に固定できる支承装置及び組付け方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】第1構造物及び第2構造物におけるそれぞれの対向部分に配設した上沓10及び下沓20で構成された支承装置1の上沓10に、上沓摺動面10aを構成する合成樹脂製のスライドベアリング36と、スライドベアリング36を保持するピストン35とが備えられ、ピストン35に、上沓摺動面10aが露出する態様でスライドベアリング36を収容する凹状の装着凹部352が設けられ、装着凹部352に収容されたスライドベアリング36を固定する係合凸部353と係合溝362とが対向部分に配置され、スライドベアリング36に設けられた係合溝362は、収容方向Cに延びる収容方向溝部363と、回転方向Rに延びる周方向溝部364とが設けられた。【選択図】図3
