To provide a waterproof external heat insulation structural body.SOLUTION: In an external heat insulation structural body, an inorganic fiber-based heat insulating material 3 is adhered to the surface side of a wall material 1 by an adhesive layer 2, and the surface side of the inorganic fiber-based heat insulating material 3 is impregnated and coated with an undercoat layer 4. A resin mortar layer 5 formed by coating a resin mortar is formed on the surface side of the inorganic fiber-based heat insulating material 3 impregnated and coated with the undercoat layer 4. In the resin mortar layer 5, a mesh material 6 is embedded along the surface of the layer formed by the resin mortar. On the surface side of the resin mortar layer 5, a flexible finishing layer 7 on which a flexible finishing coating material is formed is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
