To provide a reinforcing structure and a reinforcing method for an existing building against foundation rotational yielding.SOLUTION: A reinforcing structure 100 comprises: a foundation expansion portion 10 that is constructed on a supporting ground outside an existing building 1 and is joined to a foundation 2 to expand the foundation 2; and a pull-out resistance pile 20 that is driven into the supporting ground from the foundation expansion portion 10 and prevents the foundation expansion portion from rising with respect to the supporting ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
