To provide a bracket for the installation of a wall surface or a roof, and a method for the installation of a wall surface or a roof using the same, allowing unevenness adjustment to be easily carried out upon the installation.SOLUTION: A bracket for installation of a wall surface or a roof is used when a new wall surface is installed for an existing wall or a new roof is installed for an existing roof is installed, the bracket comprising an existing-side fixing surface to be fixed on the existing wall surface or the existing roof and a new-side fixing surface to fix a newly installed wall surface or roof in long shapes extending along the existing wall surface or roof, and being provided with a connection part connecting the existing-side fixing surface and the new-side fixing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
