To provide a notification device that can suitably suppress the occurrence of cold joints.SOLUTION: A notification device includes: a container 120 that holds sample mortar 41 obtained from sample concrete 40 having the same composition as casting concrete 10 to be cast in a predetermined casting target; a curing period measuring unit (measuring unit 200) that measures a penetration resistance value of the sample mortar 41 in the container 120 and measures a curing period of the sample mortar 41 based on the penetration resistance value; and a notification unit (display device 300) that notifies information about an overlaying period of the casting concrete 10 based on a measurement result of the curing period by the curing period measuring unit (control unit 223).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
