To provide an accessory for joint with high cut-off performance and displacement prevention and an installation structure of a building outer wall.SOLUTION: An accessory for joint 2 joins two outer wall panels 1 in a rectangular plate shape in which a back shiplap part 10 is formed at one long side among a right side and a left side and a vertical end surface without a step processing is formed at other long side, and in the accessory for joint a first accessory for joint 2 has a proximal part 20 extending in parallel with a back surface of the outer wall panel 1 and a projection part 21 projecting from the proximal part 20 toward the outer wall panel 1 side, and the projection part 21 has a cut-off surface part 22 extending in parallel with and in contact with the back surface of the outer wall panel 1 and including a seal material 24 between itself and the outer wall panel 1 and a protrusion part 23 protruding from the cut-off surface part 22 toward the outer wall panel 1 side, inserted into the back shiplap part 10 of one outer wall panel 1 and without the seal material between itself and two outer wall panels 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
