To provide a technique capable of suppressing overrun of a shutter curtain.SOLUTION: An embedded magnet type motor 86 outputs rotational power to a winding shaft capable of winding a shutter curtain. A current control unit 422 controls a current for rotating an embedded magnet type motor 86. A second detection unit 424 detects a value of a current supplied to the embedded magnet type motor 86 by the current control unit 422. A third detection unit 428 detects a load fluctuation of a shutter curtain when the value of the current detected by the second detection unit 424 is larger than a threshold value. The current control unit 422 is configured so as to, when the value of the current detected by the second detection unit 424 is included in a first zoon which is set to equal to or below the threshold value, and when cogging torque of the embedded magnet type motor 86 corresponding to the current value detected by the second detection unit 424 is within a second zoon, stop the embedded magnet type motor 86.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
