To provide a coarse aggregate that can improve compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete and is less likely to be sedimented in fresh concrete.SOLUTION: A metallic coarse aggregate for concrete 1A includes a spherical segment bonded body 3 having two hollow spherical segments 2, an annular portion 5 protruding from a surface of the spherical segment bonded body 3 so as to surround the outer periphery of the spherical segment bonded body 3, and a plurality of flexible wires 13a that penetrate the spherical segment bonded body 3 to protrude from the spherical segment bonded body 3 or the annular portion 5.
