POWERLESS AUTOMATIC DESCENT GATE AT TIME OF EARTHQUAKE
To provide a powerless automatic descent gate at the time of an earthquake that can be installed at low cost and can automatically shut off waterways without power supply in the event of an earthquake of a predetermined scale or larger.SOLUTION: A powerless automatic descent gate 1 at the time of an earthquake includes a door body 2 that shuts off a waterway H by descent, a powerless seismic sensing device 6, and a door body holding mechanism K that normally holds the door body 2 in a standby position that does not shut off the waterway H and allows the door body 2 to descend in the event of an earthquake of a predetermined scale or larger. The powerless seismic sensing device 6 includes a pedestal 61 and a ball 62 mounted so as to fall off the pedestal 61 in the event of an earthquake of a predetermined scale or larger. The door body holding mechanism K includes a ratchet mechanism 5 connected via the ball 62 and a first wire 8, an interlocking weight 4 connected via the ratchet mechanism 5 and a second wire 9, and a lifting pin mechanism 3.
