To provide a method for producing a calcium silicate hydrate slurry having a high wet volume and useful as a lightweight material.SOLUTION: A method for producing a calcium silicate hydrate slurry, which is mainly composed of tobermorite having an average particle size of 50 to 85 μm and has a wet volume of 300 to 400 mL, is characterized in performing hydrothermal synthesis using silicic acid particles having an average particle size of 8 to 20 μm and calcareous particles having an average particle size of 10 to 60 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
