To provide a floor material excellent in design and walking feel.SOLUTION: A floor material includes a footboard 10 having a plurality of long holes 11, and having ribs 12a and 12b projecting on the rear side along the outer peripheral edge part of each of the long holes 11. The floor material includes a hole lid 6 for closing the long hole 11. The footboard 10 has the long holes 11 only at both ends, not in the intermediate part. The hole lid 6 includes fitting parts 62a and 62b projecting downward on the rear side, and engagement claws 63a and 63b disposed at the lower edge of the fitting parts 62a and 62b. The fitting parts 62a and 62b are fitted to the long hole 11 and the engagement claws 63a and 63b are engaged with the ribs 12a and 12b through a snap-fit, so that the hole lid 6 can be attached to the long hole 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
