To provide a face material capable of being installed on a slope with a large inclination angle that facilitates the large inclination angle and does not spoil an aesthetic appearance as well.SOLUTION: There provided is a face material erected between columns erected on the ground surface, which constitutes a frame with a pair of vertical muntins arranged substantially parallel to columns by being arranged over ends of the vertical muntins. In addition, a pair of furring strips pivotally attached to the vertical muntins, and a plurality of slit panels extending substantially parallel to either the vertical muntins or the furring strips in the frame are arranged so as to overlap each other along an extending direction of any other of the vertical muntins or the furring strips. And both ends of the slit panel in a longitudinal direction have a pair of hypotenuses convex with respect to the longitudinal direction, and have a pivot that can rotate with respect to any other of the vertical muntins or the furring strips as well. And any other of the vertical muntins or the furring strips have a cover portion for closing the hypotenuses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
