To provide a caisson installation auxiliary device and installation method which maintain positions of caissons, and can efficiently perform installation work.SOLUTION: An installation auxiliary device 3 for guiding caissons joined to each other to a predetermined position includes a supporting beam material 4 mounted on an upper surface of one caisson 1, and guide units 5 and 5 that are supported on the supporting beam material 4 and are arranged on a side face part of the one caisson 1, in which the guide unit 5 includes guiding arm parts 9, 9 whose tip side extends toward the other caisson side from the joint end face of the one caisson 1, and the guiding arm parts 9, 9 are provided along the side face of the other caisson.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】ケーソンの位置を維持し、効率よく据え付け作業を行うことができるケーソンの据え付け補助装置及び据え付け方法の提供。【解決手段】互いに接合されるケーソンを所定の位置に案内するための据え付け補助装置３は、一方のケーソン１の上面に載置される支持用梁材４と、支持用梁材４に支持され、一方のケーソン１の側面部に配置されるガイドユニット５，５とを備え、ガイドユニット５は、先端側が一方のケーソン１の接合端面より他方のケーソン側に向けて延出された案内用腕部９，９を備え、案内用腕部９，９を他方のケーソンの側面に沿わせるようにした。【選択図】図２
