To provide an embedment type wharf wall which is economical while maintaining comparatively high earth quake performance.SOLUTION: An embedment type wharf wall has a first embedment structure 13 embedded in the foundation G1 of a seabed, a second embedment structure 14 embedded in the foundation G1 on a side closer to the land than the first embedment structure 13, a bottom slab 12 joined to the upper parts of the first embedment structure 13 and the second embedment structure 14, and an earth retaining 10 that has a side wall 11 extending upward from a sea side end of the bottom slab 12 and has an L shape in cross-sectional view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
