To provide a protective cap having no possibility of breakage of an anti-loosening key.SOLUTION: A protective cap includes a body part 41, and an anti-loosening key 5 that is arranged in a key groove composed of an inward groove part 44 of the body part 41 and an outward groove part 32 of a pin joint 3 and thereby connects the protective cap 4 and the pin joint 3 in an anti-loosening state, in which an opening 45 available when the anti-loosening key 5 is taken in/out from the key groove is provided in the body part 41, a key part 51 arranged in the key groove is provided in the anti-loosening key 5, a communication hole 13 communicating with the inward groove part 44 is provided in the body part 41, a collision preventive member 14 can be installed in the communication hole 13 so that a part thereof is positioned in at least the inward groove part 44, and the anti-loosening key 5 is prevented from moving to the depth of the key groove by bringing the key part 51 into contact with the part of the collision preventive member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
