To provide a protection cap of which an anti-loosening key has no risk to be broken.SOLUTION: A protection cap is provided with: a body part 41; and an anti-loosening key 5 arranged in a key groove comprising an inward groove part 44 in the body part 41 and an outward groove part 32 in a pin joint 3 to connect the protection cap 4 and the pin joint 3 in an anti-loosening state, wherein the body part 41 is provided with an opening 45 usable when the anti-loosening key 5 is inserted into the key groove, and the anti-loosening key 5 is provided with a key part 51 arranged in a key groove and an engaging part 52 integrally formed at an end of the key part 51 and contacting right and left edge surfaces 45L, 45R of the opening 45 in a front view when the key part 51 is placed in the key groove, and the engaging part 52 is configured to be long enough to contact on a part near an inner side in a direction along a radial direction of the body part 41 among the right and left edge surfaces 45L, 45R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】抜止キーの破断の虞がない保護キャップを提供する。【解決手段】本体部４１と、本体部４１の内向き溝部４４と、ピン継手３の外向き溝部３２とから構成されるキー溝に配置されることによって、保護キャップ４とピン継手３とを抜止状態で連結する抜止キー５と、を備え、本体部４１に、キー溝に対して抜止キー５を出し入れする際に利用可能な開口部４５が設けられてあり、抜止キー５は、キー溝内に配置されるキー部５１と、キー部５１の一端に一体的に形成され、キー部５１をキー溝内に配置したときに開口部４５の正面視における左右の縁面４５Ｌ，４５Ｒに接触する係止部５２とが設けられてあり、係止部５２は、左右の縁面４５Ｌ，４５Ｒのうち、本体部４１の径方向に沿うような方向における、内側寄りの部分に接触するような長さに構成されている。【選択図】図３
