To provide a roof structure and a roof material having excellent waterproofness.SOLUTION: A roof structure 1 comprises a downstream roof material 2A, and an upstream roof material 2B disposed upstream of the downstream roof material 2A. The downstream roof material 2A includes a downstream roof material main body 20, and a rising part 24 extending toward a front side from an upstream end of the downstream roof material main body 20. The upstream roof material 2B includes an upstream roof material main body 20, and a trailing part 22 extending toward a rear side from a downstream end of the upstream roof material main body 20. The trailing part 22 positions downstream of the rising part 24. The rising part 24 includes a projecting part 240 which is further projecting toward the downstream side than another part 244 in the rising part 24. A gap 14 is formed between the other part 244 and the trailing part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
