To provide a protective structure which can reliably and stably protect a linear facility by constituting a long and flat gabion by a combination of a protective cell and a mooring cell having different functions.SOLUTION: A protective structure 1 of a linear facility includes a gabion 10 composed of a long and flat hexahedron, and a filling material 20, wherein the gabion 10 constitutes three or more continuous cells C by partitioning the inside thereof in a longitudinal direction by a plurality of partition nets 11d, the filling material 20 is composed of a coarse grain material 21 and a fine grain material 22 having a grain diameter smaller than that of the coarse grain material 21, mooring cells Cb are constituted by the coarse grain material 21 filling the plurality of cells C on both sides in the longitudinal direction in the gabion 10, and a protective cell Ca is constituted by the fine grain material 22 filling the cell C sandwiched between the mooring cells Cb.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
