To provide a warning device, warning method, and program for warning a driver not to allow a living body left in a cabin to be in a dangerous state.SOLUTION: In a vehicle 2, a warning device 1 includes: a living body detection section (infrared sensor 21) for detecting whether a living body other than a driver exists inside the vehicle; an in-vehicle speaker arranged in a cabin of the vehicle; a getting-off detection section 14 for detecting whether the driver has performed a getting-off preparation behavior; and a warning instruction section 15 for outputting first warning from the in-vehicle speaker when the getting-off preparation behavior is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
