A pair of H-beams 200 have their ends butted against each other, and the grooved joining plates 100 are placed on both sides of each H-beams 200, such as the flange. At this time, multiple protrusions 13 and grooves 11 of the grooved joining plate 100 are arranged so as to face the H-shaped steel 200.
