ROAD SURFACE ABNORMALITY DETECTION SYSTEM
To provide a road surface abnormality detection system that can accurately predict future transitions in the status of a detected road surface abnormality from transitions in the status of other road surface abnormalities with similar environments at the spots of occurrence.SOLUTION: A road surface abnormality detection system 1 allows a server device (road surface abnormality detection device) 3 provided in an information management center 2 under management of a road manager, an operation terminal 4 operated by the road manager, and a vehicle 5 travelling on a road to transmit and receive electronic data to/from each other via a communication network 6. The information management center collects travel data including a detection result of an on-vehicle sensor 8 provided in the vehicle 5 from the vehicle 5 travelling on the road, detects status indicating each of a position and level of a road surface abnormality occurring on the road surface of the road on which the vehicle 5 has travelled based on the collected travel data, and predicts a future transition of the status of the detected road surface abnormality based on a transition history of status of other road surface abnormalities with similar environments at spots of occurrence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
