To provide a road abnormality detection system, road abnormality detection method, and road abnormality detection program capable of detecting an abnormality of a road facility on an early stage.SOLUTION: A road abnormality detection system includes a memory and a processor having hardware. The processor receives from a traveling vehicle a road image which represents an image above or around a road, and imaging position information representing a position where the road image is taken, recognizes a road facility, which is shown in the road image, and the position of the road facility on the basis of the road image and imaging position information, compares the road facility shown in the road image with correct answer information prepared in advance, and thus determines presence or absence of an abnormality of the road facility. When the abnormality of the road facility is determined to be present, facility position information representing the position of the road facility having the abnormality is stored in the memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
