To generate an overall shape of a lightning protection range.SOLUTION: A lightning protection range generation device is provided with: a first generation unit that generates a first equidistant surface equidistant from the first target part; a second generation unit that generates a second equidistant surface equidistant from the second target part; a derivation unit that derives an intersection where the first equidistant surface generated by the first generation unit and the second equidistant surface generated by the second generation unit intersect; a protection surface generation unit that generates a protection surface equidistant from the intersection derived by the derivation unit; a curve generation unit that generates a curve connecting a point at which the protection surface generated by the protection surface generation unit and the first target part are in contact with each other and a point at which the protection surface generated by the protection surface generation unit and the second target part are in contact with each other in the shortest distance on the protection surface; and a lightning protection range shape generation unit that generates a shape of a lightning protection range using the curve generated by the curve generation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
