To provide a ceiling panel device capable of improving workability, and a ceiling panel installation structure.SOLUTION: A ceiling panel device 2 includes: a ceiling panel 20 having first edges 21, 21 at both sides in a first direction placed on placement pieces 14, 14 of panel reception members 10 placed at both sides in the first direction and fixed to the placement pieces by fasteners 9 fixed via the placement pieces; and end-holding members 30 that are provided on both sides of the ceiling panel in the first direction respectively, and locked with locked portions 28b provided at the first edges to prevent the movement of the first edges with respect to the placement pieces toward the back side of the ceiling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
