To provide a flood protection louver type ventilation window automatically closed during flooding and exhibiting a preferable waterproof effect and a flood protection effect.SOLUTION: The flood protection louver type ventilation window comprises at least a sash unit, a louver unit, an interlock mechanism and a buoyance switch unit. Mainly when water from the outside flows through the sash unit to enter the buoyance switch unit during flooding, a limit on the interlock mechanism is released by the buoyance switch unit. Thus, each vane of the louver unit automatically moves downward to be automatically closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
