To provide a rockfall prevention structure having high safety and reliability, capable of enhancing the strength of a net material around an opening part even when the opening part for avoiding an obstacle such as a tree on an inclined surface is formed in the net material, and capable of suppressing a situation in which the net material is bent and broken by a load of captured rockfall.SOLUTION: A rockfall prevention structure is installed on an inclined surface. The rockfall prevention structure has an opening to avoid obstacles on the sloping surface and is provided with netting covering the sloping surface and reinforcing members surrounding the opening to reinforce the netting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
