To increase the assurance of safety checks in a getting-on/off part of a mechanical parking facility.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility 1 is equipped with: a communication unit that can communicate directly or indirectly with a portable device 5 that uses a camera function to take pictures of the inside of a getting-on/off part 10 of the mechanical parking facility 1 by operating a predetermined application; and a control unit (entry/exit control device 30) that closes a door provided in the getting-on/off part when the operation unit outputs a close signal. The control unit closes the door when the operation unit outputs the closing signal and when it is confirmed through the communication unit that the portable device has taken a picture of the inside of the getting-on/off part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
