To provide a heat insulating member that can easily form ventilation channels in a building.SOLUTION: A thermal insulation member of the present invention is a thermal insulation member to be installed in a building, which comprises a sheet-like sheet portion having a plurality of convex portions on a plane on one side, and a base portion overlapping the sheet portion. The sheet portion may overlap with the base portion such that the plurality of convex portions contact the base portion facing the base portion side. In this case, a ventilation channel is formed between the sheet portion and the base portion, comprising the plane on one side of the sheet portion, the plurality of convex portions, and the plane of the base portion with which the plurality of convex portions contact. Further, the sheet portion may overlap the base portion such that an opposite-side plane opposite to the plane where the plurality of the convex portions are provided faces the base portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
